Vietnam’s steel longs demand up slightly in H1

The Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) announced that Vietnam's output of steel long products totaled 2.26 million tons in the first half of this year, down by 2.1% year on year.

In the given period of time, the country's sales volumes of steel products totaled 2.27 million tons, up by 1.5% year on year.

In June alone, the country's steel longs output totaled 376,000 tons, up by 9.9% year on year but falling by 4.7% month on month. The sales volumes were at 351,000 tons, rising by 17.9% year on year but falling by 9.2% from a month ago.
